Fiji Flood Appeal
|
A TOTAL of $66,537.53 was raised by the Fiji Flood Appeal yesterday, a week after this newspaper opened the appeal with $5000.
Co-organisers ANZ Bank and the Fiji Times thank all who have supported the appeal for the flood victims.
Funds raised from the event will be given to the Fiji Red Cross.

Fiji's interim administration has appointed 11 new permanent secretaries to head ministries re-organised after the military coup.
Radio New Zealand International reports that appointments for five other ministries have not been made and the positions will be re-advertised.
