Cricket Controversies
Youre back in controversy with your current link-up with cricketer Nasser Hussain... Its all rubbish. Its shocking to know that Im linked with someone Ive never seen or met in my life. After this ridiculous rumour was set afire I actually had a glimpse of him for the first time ever.
Theres no smoke without fire...
Theres total confusion happening out here. Ive been friends with one of the boys who play for England, Osman Afghan; Ive not been friend with Naseer. And I dont know how people landed up linking me with Nasser. Case of mistaken identity, I guess.
And what about fast bowler Zaheer Khan? Any bouncers there... There again...they must have seen me hanging out with Zaheer and Osman. Thats it. I have a suggestion, - why dont the rumour-mongers link me up with all the eleven players by turn and get it out of their systems for once and for all. That will save a lot of time and explanation for al of us.
Hows the post-Upen Patel syndrome... Its been a strange feeling because Ive just about started enjoying my singledom status and all these baseless link-ups come charging towards me. Talking about Upen and me, we parted amicably. No hard-feelings. I know there have been reports claiming we had a showdown in public, but thats all untrue. We both come from very decent families, and we would never wash dirty linen in public. The fact that weve had to make clarifications to the media, in itself was very disappointing. But we are public figures and we have to do that. Upen and me are mature people, weve moved on with a smile on our faces.
Youve been titled hot, sexy, glam-gal et al, but that one big-hit still beckons... I know, but Im hoping that the New Year will bring with it that elusive hit. I am enjoying my life right now, Im single (not ready to mingle), I have some great friends in the industry and some great films to bank on.
Many believe that this stage of sex-sizzlers and bare-bodies is just a passing phase... Ive always said sexy is not for me. I dont think being sexy is being talented. Ive played a hot-gal in Rakht, but thats not my image and Im not comfortable with being sexy. Im not here to just sizzle on-screen.
So you want to do away with the sex-siren tag... I think I am a mix of both cute with a dash of glamour, in real life and on-screen. But I do believe that the cute girl next-door will work better for me.
